Lifetime Networks Ottawa (LNO) is a non-profit, family driven organization dedicated to helping families create a safe and secure future for their family member with a disability. When parents become infirm or die, their son or daughter may be at risk of isolation and loneliness in the community. People with disabilities sometimes need help to effectively monitor the paid services they require. To address these concerns, LNO works with families to create a network of caring and committed friends around the person with a disability and ensures that the network keeps functioning in a responsible and caring way for the LIFETIME of the individual. LNO also offers families information and training on a variety of issues related to a future “good life” for their loved one with a disability
Our goal is to ensure that “no one is left alone” and that individuals with a disability who are at risk of being isolated by virtue of their disability will be ensured of a safe, secure and a good quality of life for their lifetime.
